This girl has been wearing this Infinity Braid Combo hairstyle a lot lately, and receives so many compliments on it. Particularly because the chunky look of the infinity braid connects perfectly well with the chunky fishtail, giving you a beautiful looking braid!
Items Needed: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, 1 small hair elastic, hairspray (if desired).
Time Requirement: 7-10 minutes
Skill Level: Hard
Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Beginning with the hair wet, damp, or even dry, section off a decent-sized top section of hair from about the edge of one eyebrow to the other, and divide it into two even sections.
2. Now go to the right side of the head and pick up a very small section of hair near the front of head, and take this strand UNDER the right strand of hair and OVER the left strand.
3. Then pick up a small section of hair from the left side of the head and add this to the strand you just weaved through the hair, then taking that new strand and weaving it UNDER the left section piece and then OVER the right strand.
4. Now, again, pick up more hair on the right side and add it into the strand you just weaved through the hair,then taking that new strand and weaving it UNDER the right strand and OVER the left.
5. Continue Steps #2-4 until you run out of hair to add into the infinity braid.
6. Optional: You can finish the braid off here with a curly ponytail, a simple 3-strand braid, or even a fishtail braid (as we’ve done here).
7. When finished with your braid, secure it with a hair elastic, and go back and pancake both braids to add volume and chunkiness to the hairstyle.
8. Add hairspray (if desired)
